Lost Atlantis

This private tour includes:

• Pick up & return transfers from and to the hotel
• Visit to Pyrgos Traditional Village: built in the 15th century by occupying Venetians, it’s one of the island’s five best preserved castle ruins
• Walk through the prehistoric Bronze Age settlement of Akrotiri, allegedly the city that inspired the myth of the Lost Atlantis, a technological and cultural marvel that can be traced back from the 5th millennium BC and was abandoned in the 16th century BC
• Visit to Megalochori Traditional Village: dating back to the 17th century, when traders and wealthy landowner barons exported a famous wine of the island called Vinsanto.

Not included:

• Tickets & expert guide for Akrotiri are NOT included: the ticket’s cost is 15€ per person
• A guided tour for the Akrotiri Excavations could be arranged: extra (total) cost of 150€ for one hour for the whole group. This extra service has to be prearranged and is highly recommended.
